We are an Aveda Concept Salon. We support Aveda's Mission to care for the world we live in, from the products we make to the ways in which we give back to society. At Aveda, and at The Cat's Meow Salon and Spa, we strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility, not just in the world of beauty, but around the world.
We offer Aveda signature sevices and use Aveda haircare, skincare, make-up and haircolor products exclusively.
We were the first salon in Belleville to join forces with GreenCircle Salons, an advanced recycling program where we can reduce the amount of waste created by the beauty industry and properly dispose of what would not normally be recycled by our local municipality. We are now able to recycle our foils, our leftover color and the tubes it comes in, our latex gloves and even the HAIR that we cut. The hair we cut goes to making mats to soak up oil spills in our oceans - how cool is that?!
