Depending on your current skill set we will determine the appropriate training program for you.  You will be trained the AVEDA way with The Cat's Meow twist. 
Job requirements include: world class customer service, client consultation, modern and classic hairstyling, cutting and coloring, hair treatments, prescriptive instruction on home-care products and tools.

Must Haves:
 
1. High school diploma, Hairstyling diploma and/or license.
2. Ability to communicate (speak and listen) and a willingness to learn.
3. Uncompromising desire to deliver world class service to our valued guests.
4. Play well with others - we believe in team!
5. General love of numbers, goal- setting and keeping score.
6. Willingness to work evenings and weekends and volunteer for charity events (visit our Highlights for Hope page)
7. Stretchy comfort zone - you must sell stuff, market yourself and stand for long periods.
8. A great sense of style and without question, fabulous hair!
9. A passion for life-long education and a desire to get better every day

We are looking for licensed stylists who want to refine their skills and take their career to a whole new level, as well as exceptional individuals who want to get started from the ground up.  It's an opportunity to be personally mentored by one of Belleville's most accomplished stylist, The Cat's Meow's Artistic Director, Sharon Huckle.
