At Aveda, and at The Cat's Meow Salon , we strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility, not just in the world of beauty, but around the world.

In our on-going commitment to offer naturally-derived products without toxins that are gluten-free, paraben-free and cruelty-free for our guests, we now carry Monat products. We are incredibly excited by the breakthroughs these products have made to reverse the signs of aging in hair and reduce thinning and breakage, while amplifying shine, strengthening your strands and boosting the health of your hair. They have recently introduced a brand new anti-aging skincare line that is getting incredible results. We have all this available in the salon as well as through the link below!

Sharon Huckle is the heart and soul of The Cat's Meow Salon. Her areas of expertise include advanced hair colouring, precision cutting, wedding styling and hair and make-up for photography. Sharon is experienced in all aspects of the beauty business having worked in the industry for more than twenty years and having had her own salon for sixteen years. She believes in finely tuned personal communication skills, over-the-top passion, commitment to education and a keen understanding of the beauty industry and the people it serves.
Sharon is an award-winning stylist and business owner with a long list of advanced training and Sharon has been lucky enough to work and train with some of the best hairstylists in the world and was a stylist backstage for the runway shows at New York Fashion Week. Her passion for the beauty industry and advanced education is evident in her daily salon work, as well as her work in the community. She prides herself on her commitment to education and world class customer service and instills that into everything she does at The Cat's Meow Salon.
She is also committed to the community and is very active with many charities but in particular she is known for work with the Canadian Cancer Society with Cougars for Cancer and The Highlights for Hope program. In the past sixteen years Sharon has established The Cat's Meow Salon to be a place dedicated to technical excellence and world class customer service. She is committed to making our customers look and feel like the cat's meow!
She is the mother of two wonderful sons (Asher, 19 and Kayden, 15). Sharon also owns a boutique motel located beside and above the salon called Wind Rose Suites. In her spare time (haha) she loves to paint (art, not walls), cook and bake, be goofy with her two awesome kids and cuddle with her 3 cats.
