COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

DONATIONS

The Cat's Meow Salon and Spa believes in giving back to the communities we serve through our donations program. The programs we support come from our business philosophies and guest concerns, promoting wellness, environmental initiatives and community growth. We are a small business and though it is our desire to help, please understand we are unable give to everyone who asks.  That being said, in the last 14 years, we have donated more than $100,000 to a variety of causes (please see our list below...we're proud of that!) and this does not include the time Sharon and BJ dedicate to events and committees!

Eligibility
1. Qualify for a non-profit status
2. Benefit local communities serviced by The Cat's Meow Salon and Spa
3. Demonstrate sound and responsible financial policies and management
4. Satisfy The Cat's Meow Salon and Spa that the project or program is not an unnecessary duplication

Requests must be submitted in writing, including the following:
1.  A concise description, including purpose and objectives
2.  Date of event
3.  Contact person for procurement
4.  Contact information, including mailing for procurement
5.  Proof of non-profit status
6.  The goal your event is trying to reach

All requests will be evaluated by the owner of The Cat's Meow Salon and Spa. Any short-notice donations will not be accepted. Donations are made in the form of our standard Donation Package with specific services, valued at more than $180, that are not up for substitutitions. Donation Packages cannot be redeemed for cash. They are considered a promotional package and therefore have a six month expiry from the date of the fundraising event. Due to the number of requests we receive, we are unable to extend the package beyond the expiration date.

All requests must be submitted in writing. Please direct all questions, inquiries and applications to:

WE GIVE BACK IN A REALLY BIG WAY

These are just some of the charities we have helped in the past 18 years: Each one of these donations equals over $175 in value. The Cat's Meow Salon and Spa has been donating a minimum of $7500 per year for a total of over of $105,000 given back to our community. That's not bad for a small business with 2 staff! And if you include what we have given with our other company Urban Collective in the past 19 years, we have donated more than $450,000 to our local community!
